Impact Guidance SystemTM
| |
As the first point of contact for many runners, the lateral heel is the first opportunity to affect shock absorption and guide the foot toward a smooth transition. The Impact Guidance SystemTM offers a dynamic approach to this process. By increasing the size and area of the GEL Cushioning System and angle of the rearfoot lateral flex grooves, the Impact Guidance SystemTM works to reduce the large shear forces created by the shoe to ground interface. This results in incredible shock absorption and slower rate of pronation from the point of heel contact to the midfoot. Thereby, allowing the foot to perform in a more natural manner. |

SpEVATM
| |
Is a new generation of midsole material. In SpEVATM, the microcells which make up standard EVA are partly replaced by particles with unique polymers that provide special "bounce back" properties. This bounce back property improves performance by limiting midsole energy loss. In addition, SpEVATM breaks down at a slower rate, thereby, increasing the durability of the midsole. These qualities in SpEVATM limit energy loss from the midsole giving the athlete improved performance without sacrificing cushioning and comfort. |
