The new Brooks Burn 3 is a durable, lightweight trainer with a wonderful balance of speed, performance and cushioning. The new injected i-257™ and Hydroflow ST® technologies absorb shock impact and help ensure comfort on the run. Ideal for biomechanically efficient runners, it is designed to energize your daily runs, speed workouts or tempo runs.
Upper
Synthetic overlays and Air Mesh a highly ventilated mesh for breathability. Thermoplastic heel counter maintains the integrity and shape of the rear shoe body. 3M® reflectivity.
Sole
The HydroFlow ST® absorbs shock, stabilizes the heel and returns energy back to the foot stride after stride. Midsole and outsole components are designed to set-up the foot in an efficient balanced position from heel strike through toe off and provide excellent cushioning and flexibility. The full length i-257™ midsole compound is formulated to decrease break down by up to 15% while providing excellent energy return and cushioning. The internal DRB™ Accel under the midfoot area provides added support and tortional rigidity for a smooth transition from heel to toe. The Cushpod Configuration provides for a well cushioned ride. The HPR Strike Pad increases longevity at the point of initial contact.
